House Rules  & Tips-

~ Please keep all garage doors, exterior doors and windows shut to keep pipes from freezing.

~ Please do not touch the interior elevator door panels. These are self closing and may take up to 10 seconds to close. Should a panel close on you or door not open or close properly, press the interior or exterior call button to reopen. Pulling the emergency call button for 5 seconds resets elevator comptuer. Should you experience problems with the elevator, please refrain from using and contact Paragon Lodging immediately. The primary purpose of the elevator is for those with disabilities or the elderly. Please use the stairs if you are capable.

~ The thermostat with lockbox at top of stairs going from mudroom to great room is a backup forced air heating system.  If this were to run with radiant heat, it would create hot and cool spots in the home. Each room has its own radiant heat thermostat. Please use these to adjust for comfort level.

~ Viking fridge in wet bar should be closed gently. If slammed, it will pop open.

~ Make sure to keep cover on the hot tub. The hot tub lid is on a lift and requires that you gently open and close, so brackets are not pulled from hot tub.

~ Please smoke only on decks or cigar porch. Please make sure to discard butts in a clean and safe manner.

~ Please take all shoes off in Mud Room. Wood floors can be damaged by moisture.

~ No skis, poles, ski boots or snowshoes are permitted to be in home.

Breckenridge Ski Resort - Lake Dillon

ABOUT SUMMIT COUNTY
www.summitchamber.org

Dubbed Colorado's Playground, Summit County draws 3.6 million skiers each year, more than the entire state of Utah. The county covers 600 square miles with  three-quarters located in the national forest. That leaves around 150 square miles of private land. Summit County boasts four world class ski areas -Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper Mountain and Arapahoe Basin- all within easy driving distance from Denver International Airport, and minutes from each other. Vail Ski Resorts has recently purchased Keystone and Breckenridge ski resorts, so you can add Vail and Beaver Creek to the list of available ski areas.  Almost every conceivable recreation activity is available here, winter activities, as well as summer.

Towns to visit during your stay

Frisco -   www.townoffrisco.com
Nestled high in the Colorado Rocky Mountains is a unique town called Frisco. It is a town of contrast - claiming both the quiet charm and bustle of activity inherent in resort communities. Encircled by the Arapahoe National Forest, and bordered by the shores of Lake Dillon, Frisco is the geographic heart of Summit County. Frisco locals, proud to share their town with visitors from around the world, are as diverse as they are friendly. Shops, restaurants, and bars along Frisco's two retail corridors - Main Street and Summit Boulevard - reflect that diversity. Shopping for handcrafted antiques, jewelry or t-shirts? You'll find it in Frisco!

Silverthorne -  www.silverthorne.org

Enjoy shopping?   Silverthorne, "the gateway to Summit County", is best known for its shopping, which should not be missed! The Silverthorne Factory Stores, with over 70 brand name shops are widely known for exceptional value, quality, and variety. See .PDF file for full store list and map below.

Dillon -  www.townofdillon.com

The Town of Dillon was incorporated on January 26, 1883 at the site of a trading post and stage stop. The Town was moved three times; once to be closer to the railroad, a second time to be located between three rivers - the Blue, the Ten Mile, and the Snake. The third move began in 1956 when the Denver Water Board told the townspeople that they must sell their property and be out of town by 1961. The final location for the Town of Dillon was selected on the shore of the new reservoir where the town continues to thrive today.
